All done!!

Well this run of classes is over. I hope that everyone passed. I really enjoyed it. I am still not very good with the whole writing thing but hopefully in time. I did make two awesome meals this week for the holidays. Sunday I made a bacon cheeseburger meatloaf, cheesy potatoes, corn, and green beans. Then on Monday I made cheesecake filled pancakes with warm strawberry and blueberry syrup. YUM-O!!!

Almost over!

Okay so this set of classes is almost over. Yay!!!!! I really enjoyed them and I believe I might actually continue to write in my blog. I am not sure yet. Well, graduation went well. However, they were supposed to announce that our son got a full 4 year scholarship to Martim Methodist College but that did not happen. I guess that really does not matter. We had so many people at our house Thursday it was insane. Then as we are getting ready to load up in the cars it starts pouring down the rain. Luckily the graduation was inside. My mom decided to stay until today. This meant that again I got behind on everything. Homework, housework, me time but all is well. I am finally getting caught up. I am going to keep this one short because I am worn out. Good night!

My crazy, busy week.

I am so far behind this week and it is driving me bananas. Our oldest son, who is 18, is graduating high school this week. That means a have a boatload of people coming over. My husband and I just bought a house, which half the family has never seen before, and we are doing our spring cleaning before everyone gets here. So for the past two days I have been spending my down time steam sleaning our carpets. Oh yes what fun I have! Admit it you are jealous of all my fun. Now that my house is clean I get to catch up on my homework. Tomorrow my in laws are coming into town and they will be with us until Friday. I have to start getting stuff ready for our cookout Thursday. Plus, we a special feature entertainer coming to our club this weekend. I pray that I make it through the weekend with all my hair!

Never boring!

This week I have to tell you about my wonderful 2 year old boy again. Just a couple days ago I took my son upstairs for his nap. I laid him down, changed his diaper, gave him his drinnk and started his cartoon. He fussed for a little bit but eventually he calmed down. At least I thought he did. I told my 16 year old daughter to go check on him just to make sure. She came back downstairs laughing like crazy. " you have got to look at your son", she said. This is never a good thing. My wonderful, beautiful, innocent two year old had taken his diaper off. Can you see where this is going? Yes, he pooped. Not only did he poop but he all decided to paint my walls with it. That is why I believe that mother's should not get just one day. We should get the weekend. My weekend everyone was gone for the most part. My toddler was her and my husband was too. He doesn't count because he was asleep most of the time. I did have a great Mother's Day dinner even though I made it. I love my family though.

Rain Rain Go Away!

Okay, this weekend Tennessee got flooded. Guess where I live.... Tennessee! Well we got extremely lucky compared to most people. We did have a little river running through our yard for a little bit but it could be a lot worse. My mom's yard had become a small pond, my dad's work has four feet of water in it. The road they live on is right next to the river. My dad and sister are absolutly crazy because they actually went out in the crap. My sister went to town and back just fine. My dad tried to go a different way and got the van stuck. He had to call 911 and everything. He is okay but the van isn't. I know I am not supossed to laugh but I cannot help it. He always used to make fun of me for doing STUPID things well guess what pops you do it too. HAHA! I wouldn't joke about it but you know how parents always give us a hard time about stuff. So, I think it is only fair that I return the favor. Thank god we are all safe. Maybe they will learn that if there is water over the road you really shouldn't drive through it. DUH!

Kind of a boring week.

Okay, this is unusual. I do not have any stories this week. I cannot believe it. I usually can come up with some story about some of the wall things that my kids do but I have absolutely nothing. Well, I guess the week is not over yet I still have tomorrow! I guess this week I can just tell you what I am making for Sunday dinner. I haven't decided between a bbq meatloaf or a bacon cheeseburger meatloaf. Any suggestions? I will probably make some loaded baked potatoes, green beans, corn and rolls. Sometimes we have a big crowd on Sunday; but, if not, the ones who do show up can put the food away. LOL! You have to love family and Sunday dinners.

What was I supposed to do?

Last night my step-son told me that he had left half of his clothes at his mom's house. Now, he came back Sunday and I have told him everyday this week to get his stuff put away. He spent an hour last night trying to find something to wear. Finally just a few minutes before ten he found something that would work. Then he brought me a pair of jeans and asked if I could wash them. I said sure no problem I will try and get them done. I am a night owl. I do stay up sort of late because it is easier to get my cleaning and schoolwork done after everybody goes to bed. Well, I put his pants in the dryer before I went to bed and for some reason they did not get dry. I get to bed around 1, I get woke up at 3 when my husband gets home, I get up at 5:45 to wake the kids up, after that I lay back down until my 2 year old gets up and at 7 they get taken to school. Now, at about 6:30 my step son, who is 18 years old and a senior in high school, comes up and tells me that his pants are not dry. The only thing I can say is and? After school I asked him why he felt the need to wake me up to tell me his pants were wet. He said well you said that you would get them done and I wanted to let you know that you didn't. What exactly was I supposed to do about a pair of wet pants 30 minutes before he had to leave for school that he couldn't do hisself? Yes, he knows how to run the dryer.

A quiet week! Yeah right!

Well, this does not happen very often. There is only one child in my home right now. All the rest are gone on spring break. I am not sure if it is a good thing or not though. When they are here I do get a little help from them. They watch the baby while I do my housework, schoolwork, etc. and without them here it is a challenge to get things done with a 2 year old running around. For example, last night during seminar my son was taking a bath. Now, from where my desk sits I have a great few of the bathroom and I can watch him while listening to the professor. I have become very good at multi-tasking. Anyway I was sitting here for class and he was in the tub. I looked up and asked if he was doing ok and he just looked at me and grinned. I realized after a few minutes that he was being very quiet. i decided to stand up and look in on him. What a sight! My darling, loveable, sweet and innocent two year old boy had pooped in the tub! Not only that but he decided that it would be a good idea to drive his toy truck through it. His daddy said he is just going muddin' but he did not have any mudd so he had to make his own. A quiet week in my house even with just one child is not possible!

The new house.

Well, I am behind on my schoolwork this week because we have been moving. After months and months of searching we found the perfect house. It has 4 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a den, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, two covered porches, and a fenced in yard. I absolutely love it. I hate moving though because it makes me realize how much crap I have accumulated. It was a pretty uneventful move. My washer and dryer fell off the trailer. It banged it up a little but nothing that a hammer wouldn't fix. However, a new washer and dryer wouldn't hurt my feelings any. I already got a new stove out of the deal.

A new day?

Well, last week I didn't post a new blog because there was so many overwhelming things that were going on. This week I am making sure to get it done. So here it goes.
I have come to the shocking conclusion that things need to change. I went to some parent teacher conferences yesterday and I was shocked to hear that the few bad grades that my kids receieved were because they didn't turn in homework. So I had to come home and get irrate. I really do not see how they aren't getting it done. I do my homework and they don't have anything else to do. Yes, my kids can be lazy. Time to change things up. I also realized that if I don't lose some weight I could possibly become very sick. I took my blood pressure yesterday and it was a little high but my husband went to the doctor and they put him on medicine for his. So, we now have a wii active. Maybe just maybe I will wake up Monday morning ready to get some exercise. I really hope so. Well, let's see what else? Not much I guess. This week has been uneventful thank goodness. Classes are almost done. I am looking forward to that break for a little bit. I have to say that I am not very happy with myself this go around because my grades have took a turn for the worse. That is my own fault I will be better next time.

Maybe I can get things caught up !

Well this week has been pretty uneventful. We have started looking for a house again. Now my husband just can not find anything that knocks his socks off. We foound a couple before but since they have changed things around so much we are missing out every time. I have had such good luck with school before and for some reason this time I just can't get things together. With all the sick people around me and the house CRAP, and my husband in desperate need of an assistant manager I just can't get a break. Every week since this round of classes have started I have been behind. Hopefully this week will be different. I am already ahead of where I am usually at. YAY ME!!!!
Well, on a different note. I bought myself the WII active. I have heard alot of good things about it. I just wonder if it will actually work for me. My New Year's resolution was to lose about fifty pounds and to help my husband lose more than that. I have a very hard time getting out and about. So my workouts are limited to here at the house. I also really need to start cooking healthier. That is going to be extremely difficult because I strongly believe that butter and sweets shouold be the two main food groups. I am such a huge fan of Mrs. Paula Deen. She is the best cook in the world!!!!! SHe is also a southern lady so that is a bonus. Well, like I said it has been a very uneventful week. I hope everybody is doing well. Time to hit the hay.

Buying A House!!!

Okay so a couple of months ago my husband and I decided to buy a house. Yay!!!! We talk to the mortgage company and tell them this is what we can do and can you help us? They tell us no problem, you can get a loan, start looking. We started looking and found one. So, we turn in everything they ask for, we sign the contracts, and my husband tells me to start packing because we will be moving in thirty days. After about two weeks the phone rings. The mortgage company says sorry we can't help you. But, two weeks ago with these same papers you said you could, what changed? Our debt to income ratio changed. Can someone please tell me how that changed when the pay didn't change and neither did the debt? I sure don't know! So, our poor real estate lady has put up with us looking for a house big enough to fit us all and far enough out of town so my husband can have his country. Oh My GOODNESS!!!! She is such a great lady. She told us about another company. My husband calls him and tells him what happened. This man was totally shocked that it was handled so poorly. We turn all of the SAME paperwork to him. A few days later we get a call. He tells us in three months we can start looking for a house. That by then everything would be where it needed to be for a loan. We ask, "How much?" They tell us our limit and we wait. There is no sense in looking when we have to wait. So, a couple of weeks ago our time was up. Time to start looking again. Now instead of just looking, we actually called the guy and asked first. Just to make sure we weren't waisting our time. Is everything ready to go, can we still get the loan, and how much? We get all the details and call our lady again. We finally found a place. We LOVED it. We couldn't get. This house was in a flood zone and the people selling it would have to lower their price which they have already done. Start looking again! We went out to look at a place and this man calls us and lowers our loan amount another $15,000. You have got to be freaking kidding me! What changed? Again no one knows! Why in the world would you have a job and not know what the crap you are doing? If nothing has changed on end of the paperwork then one would assume that it had to be on the other end right? So if it is your company and you own it then why can't you tell me the problem?

This week.

WOW! I have had a heck of a week. It all started Sunday morning. Well, Sunday afternoon I guess. My husband woke up with this awful stomach virus. It only lasted twenty-four hours but it was rough. Then, our 18 year old son got it. He stayed home from school. The next person in line to get this wonderful thing was our 19 month old son. That was fun! I would start to get one mess cleaned up and another would happen. I had the baby in one arm, the phone up to my ear explaining to Daddy what was going on, and wishing that I would sprout a third arm so I can strip the sheets on his bed. The next day our English Bulldog gets sick. By this time I am spraying the house down with Lysol and praying that this mess stops before it goes any further. I know that there is no way for me to get that lucky. Well, I get a phone call to let me know that our 11 year old daughter just hurled all over her friend on the bus. Not even close to being done I am afraid. So, at this point I am praying that it doesn't get me because we are in trouble if it does. If I am stuck in bed who will do laundry, cook dinner, clean house, and do everything else that everyone in my house is allergic to doing. Guess what! I got it! I have spent the last TWO days in bed and believe me it was no vacation. I am so behind on my homework, my house was in serious need of cleaning and sanatizing, and I still feel like crap. What am I to do? I am going to try and play catch up tonight. I might just get lucky and my grades will not suffer too bad. My 16 year old daughter tells me she doesn't get sick like everyone else. Guess what honey you are going to be next and she was. So, now there are two people upstairs and sick. I hope and pray that this is over. Tommorrow will make a full week. Please let this end.

My day!!!

I have decided to take every one's advice and write about my life. Let me tell you about my family a little first. Along with my kids I have 4 dogs, 2 ferrets, a snake and a mouse. The mouse was dinner for the snake but he was not hungry. Now, he is to big to eat and is a pet. My husband is the manager of a club and works every night of the week except Sunday. Since he works all night you might guess he sleeps all day. My kids range in age from 18 years to 18 months. There are four girls and four boys. My 18 month old son likes to stay up until 2 a.m. but he does sleep until 8 or 9. I do not get that much sleep though. I wish!
My days begin at about 3 a.m. when my husband gets home from work. He says, "You don't have to get up when I get home." What he doesn't realize that when I hear the door open, the keys hit the headboard, the phone clicking, and then the television comes on it is really hard to stay asleep. Then, i finally go back to sleep and the alarm goes off at 5:45 and I have to get the kids up for school. Let me tell you that with one bathroom it takes FOREVER to get everybody up and out. Then I lay back down until the baby gets up. Well, sometimes I get up an hour before him for my wake up time. While I am waking up I usually start the laundry, give the pets food and water, clean up what messes they might have made, I get Michael's juice cup and cereal ready, I get my drink and breakfast, and trying to figure out what I am going to make for dinner. Then, I hear the suttle sounds of a toddler kicking the wall trying to say, "Hey, I am up!" My husband is still asleep. I go get the baby and change the dreaded morning diaper. Let me tell you he can put his daddy to shame on the smell. Shewwwww! So, it is breakfast time. The breakfast works like this. My son runs back and forth through the living room with a cup in one hand and a block in the other. I try and shove a bite of cereal or whatever I get him to eat that day. I wish I had half the energy he has. Is it nap time yet? Oh, by the way, my child has a weird fascination with ladybugs and my husband is still asleep. Is it nap time yet?
Now, it is time for lunch. This usually happens around noon. We usually have some kind of chips and chicken nuggets. This is because he will not eat anything else. While he eating I grab a quick bite because I know the fun is getting ready to start because this is the time that he starts getting grouchy and my cleaning begins. After he eats it is time to get him cleaned up and let him run around until the sleepy sets in. Time for a cartoon. He probably will not fall asleep but he will sit still long enough to watch certain cartoons. Time to clean!!! First, I go through and check all the food and water for the animals(they eat a bunch), then I make them all get in the bed or go outside (they do not like the vacuum cleaner), sweep, mop, vacuum, wash the breakfast and lunch dishes, and do another load of clothes. Guess what, my husband is up! So, now it is time for his lunch. He gets done and we get to spend our hour together. Then he has to start his running for the club, I watch Days of Our Lives and do another load of laundry. Is anyone else tired yet?
It is now time for the kids to get home from school! So, that must mean it is 3:30. They start their homework and I am going to take a break for about 30 minutes. Then it will be time to start dinner because it has to be done by 5 p.m. that way my husband can eat before work. As I am cooking dinner and running after the baby, my husband starts the long line of showers that have to begin, and the kids that have finished their studies get to start on their chores for the day. Now that they are home I have them clean the yard, check on the pets and after dinner they get dishes. That doesn't seem like much to me but they act like it is impossible to do. After dinner the kids get showers and baths and I do more laundry. Time for my husband to go to work and the kids go off to their rooms. Just me and the toddler again and he still has not had a nap. He climbs up in my lap to watch television and falls asleep.
After dinner is done, the kitchen is clean, and the showers are done I get to watch television for a little bit but there is usually something going on and I am up doing things. I usually use this time to do my work and studying for Kaplan. I know that when the little man gets up my papers have to be put away. He does not like for me to do anything without him. When I finally get him settled back down to watch a cartoon around midnight I like to play around on Facebook and do a little more homework. About 1 a.m. he is about to go to sleep and I lay in the bed waiting for him to go to sleep. It finally happens. YAY!!!! I can close my eyes. Then, it all happens again. What the Crap! I need sleep!!!!

What to do?

I am not sure exactly what is expected of us on here. I have a hard time just writing
