Kind of a boring week.

Okay, this is unusual. I do not have any stories this week. I cannot believe it. I usually can come up with some story about some of the wall things that my kids do but I have absolutely nothing. Well, I guess the week is not over yet I still have tomorrow! I guess this week I can just tell you what I am making for Sunday dinner. I haven't decided between a bbq meatloaf or a bacon cheeseburger meatloaf. Any suggestions? I will probably make some loaded baked potatoes, green beans, corn and rolls. Sometimes we have a big crowd on Sunday; but, if not, the ones who do show up can put the food away. LOL! You have to love family and Sunday dinners.

What was I supposed to do?

Last night my step-son told me that he had left half of his clothes at his mom's house. Now, he came back Sunday and I have told him everyday this week to get his stuff put away. He spent an hour last night trying to find something to wear. Finally just a few minutes before ten he found something that would work. Then he brought me a pair of jeans and asked if I could wash them. I said sure no problem I will try and get them done. I am a night owl. I do stay up sort of late because it is easier to get my cleaning and schoolwork done after everybody goes to bed. Well, I put his pants in the dryer before I went to bed and for some reason they did not get dry. I get to bed around 1, I get woke up at 3 when my husband gets home, I get up at 5:45 to wake the kids up, after that I lay back down until my 2 year old gets up and at 7 they get taken to school. Now, at about 6:30 my step son, who is 18 years old and a senior in high school, comes up and tells me that his pants are not dry. The only thing I can say is and? After school I asked him why he felt the need to wake me up to tell me his pants were wet. He said well you said that you would get them done and I wanted to let you know that you didn't. What exactly was I supposed to do about a pair of wet pants 30 minutes before he had to leave for school that he couldn't do hisself? Yes, he knows how to run the dryer.

A quiet week! Yeah right!

Well, this does not happen very often. There is only one child in my home right now. All the rest are gone on spring break. I am not sure if it is a good thing or not though. When they are here I do get a little help from them. They watch the baby while I do my housework, schoolwork, etc. and without them here it is a challenge to get things done with a 2 year old running around. For example, last night during seminar my son was taking a bath. Now, from where my desk sits I have a great few of the bathroom and I can watch him while listening to the professor. I have become very good at multi-tasking. Anyway I was sitting here for class and he was in the tub. I looked up and asked if he was doing ok and he just looked at me and grinned. I realized after a few minutes that he was being very quiet. i decided to stand up and look in on him. What a sight! My darling, loveable, sweet and innocent two year old boy had pooped in the tub! Not only that but he decided that it would be a good idea to drive his toy truck through it. His daddy said he is just going muddin' but he did not have any mudd so he had to make his own. A quiet week in my house even with just one child is not possible!

The new house.

Well, I am behind on my schoolwork this week because we have been moving. After months and months of searching we found the perfect house. It has 4 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a den, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, two covered porches, and a fenced in yard. I absolutely love it. I hate moving though because it makes me realize how much crap I have accumulated. It was a pretty uneventful move. My washer and dryer fell off the trailer. It banged it up a little but nothing that a hammer wouldn't fix. However, a new washer and dryer wouldn't hurt my feelings any. I already got a new stove out of the deal.
